Each of us has a walk we must walk. We know some have lots of difficulties in their journey. Some, so called pastors, promise the walk will be easy once you surrender to Christ and we think this is why so many choose not to commit to God. They hear it said and then see the battles their Christian friends are in and they choose to stay away from the fight. Once a Christian realizes the length and outcome of the battle it’s entirely up to them, they will be more obedient and study God’s Word more carefully. The Bible tells us, throughout the New Testament, that we are to be tried and tested to be purified. The Pastor taught a service the other night, about us going through a probation period. When a court system places a person on probation, a certain amount of time is given to see how that person follows the instruction given them. They are to report to their probation officer at certain times and they are to follow the law and not break it. God has placed us here for a certain amount of time, He’s given us commands and He’s watching to see how we do. In John 15:16, He tells us that we didn’t choose Him, He chose us. God has a work for each of us to do and we have to prove to Him that we can follow orders and complete the job. God is building an army and He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to form this army and train the select ones to handle their positions. When, you study God’s Word, you learn there is coming a thousand year reign and we will be ruling and reigning with Christ. This army of rulers, must be trustworthy, loyal and know how to carryout Christ’s orders. We will be ruling over the millions of living, that don’t make the rapture, because of doubt and unbelief. These millions will pass through the seven year Tribulation time and enter the Millennium or thousand year times period. We have one thousand years or one day with the Lord, to convince these unbelievers to follow Christ and accept the work He did on Calvary. The Bible teaches in Revelation 20:7-9, that Satan will then tempt them and many will follow him, but those that stand faithful will enter into the Kingdom of God, as natural people, just as Adam and Eve did before the curse of their fall. God comes to earth and we rule the natural people for eternity. Most have no idea what we are speaking of, but the scriptures are very clear about this. †
God Chose You
That’s right, God selected you out of the billions, that would be born, over the centuries, to be one of His Children. That’s very special. You must look at who you really are and where you’re going. You might not be the wealthiest person on the block, nor the prettiest or the most handsome, but you belong to the most well respected and most powerful family that’s ever existed. You cannot see the reasoning behind God’s plans, neither can we, but we know there’s more ahead of us than we’ve seen so far. Rejoice and be glad that we have a Heavenly Father and an Elder Brother that watches over us. They have assured us that, they will not allow more to be placed upon us than we can bear. If God be for you, who can be against you? Continually ask yourself this question. It’s very important to remember who you are. God could have skipped over you and made you a tare, but instead, He saw where, over the years, He could mold you into a vessel of honor. Something He could use and be proud of. As we stated earlier, “You might not be the brightest, richest or best looking kid on the block, but you’re a Child of God.” Satan realizes it and you should also. You have power over all the enemy. Luke 10:19 †
Trials And Tests
Some people don’t understand the meaning of the phrase, “Trials and Tests.” Sometimes, when you are faced with a trying situation and you can’t understand why it’s happening to you, it could be a test to see how you will handle it. We’re a firm believer that, Satan can do absolutely nothing without God’s permission or without God allowing it. Therefore, when difficult things happen, we’re to look for the good that can come from the event. We’re not to try to second guess God. Have you heard others say, “When you have a flat tire, it could be to keep you from going down the road and having an accident”? This is just a simple example. We see tragedies happen and it just doesn’t seem right, but we’re looking through carnal eyes at a very small portion of God’s plan and God is looking at the entire picture. A child dies, a wreck occurs, a storm destroys or sickness hinders and our flesh wants to question God and ask, “Why?” but we’re to praise the Lord and look for the good that’s to come. Sometimes the Lord allows things to happen, in our lives, to get our attention. Maybe you’ve dropped out of church and you’re not reading your Bible or praying like you used to. It seems that when things go wrong, in our lives, we turn to God. We pray more and sometimes we find ourselves back in church where we’re suppose to be. Then there are times that certain things arise and we have to make decisions. These things could be happening to see if we will give the problem to God and trust Him to take care of it or if we’ll try to handle it ourselves. The Lord wants us to place our faith that moves His hand and provides deliverance. †
Why Not Now?
God’s waiting for you to make a move, so why don’t you start now? People are hungry, they need clothes and they need direction. Millions of young people have no direction in their lives. They’ve never been taught discipline nor respect. They have no one in their lives to look up to. We need to tell them about, “Jesus.” You can reach a few people in your community, church, town and county. That’s exactly what we need to be doing, but with your prayers and financial support, we can reach millions. God has put you with us for a reason. We can’t begin to explain why God chose us and has blessed us to reach the lost, like He has, but we know He did and that’s all that matters. Please do all that you can to help us.
