Have you ever gotten disgusted? You witness and witness and it seems as though your words just bounce back at you. God spoke something to us sometime back, that really got my attention. We had been ministering for three nights to a group of wicked, unsaved sinners. These people had no fear of God at all. Right in the middle of the last service, The Lord said, “Shake the dust.” He didn’t say, “Shake the dust from your feet”, as the Bible says in Matthew 10:14, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.” It was as though God was telling us that it wasn’t just one person or just one city, but it was for all that we minister to. “Shake the dust.” Meaning, don’t worry about them, go on and do our work. We allowed it to bother us for a short while, but then we realized what God was telling us. He never called us to lead everyone to Him. He called us to sow seed and to water the seed that had been sown. After all, it’s Him that does the saving. There comes a time, in our witnessing, that we must realize that we cannot allow those that will not receive , to tear our faith down. We must give them over to God and allow His Will to be done. Some will never repent and be saved. While we’re spending hours or days trying to lead them to Jesus, there’s many waiting to hear the truth, so that they can change their lives and be saved. We must be careful and not allow Satan to trick us nor deceive us into wasting our precious time on his children that will never be saved. There are millions, out there, that need to hear the Word of God. We can’t tell who will or will not accept Christ. We’re to witness to all and allow God to do His Will. After we had spent two nights ministering thee Word, on the third night it was like the Lord said, “They’ve heard, now go minister to others.” We can only hope He was saying, “You’ve sown the seed, now let others come water.” We don’t want to see anyone lost, but it’s a fact that there will be millions that are. Those of us that’s saved and know we have heart knowledge of Christ are so blessed. We praise the Lord that Jesus died for our sins and that God drew us unto repentance and salvation. Remember these two Scriptures, John 14:6 and John 6:44. These are two powerful Scriptures that most overlook. In John 5:39 it says, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” Many preachers preach that if you know Jesus, you are saved. Satan knows Jesus, but he will never be saved. Neither will his fallen angels, his servants or his children be saved. The devil will use his people to hinder God’s children from doing their work. He will send them to question you about salvation, knowing that they will never accept Jesus, but they know while you are spending hours talking to them, you’re not able to go talk to those that really want to be saved. This is why we need to tell everyone we come in contact with about the love of Christ and the plan of Salvation. Once they’ve heard, shake off the dust and move on to others that need to hear. We must remember, we can save no one. Only our Lord does the saving. All we can do is sow the seed or water the seed that’s already been sown. We must encourage those that are allowing the devil to deceive them into depression. If you are a child of God, you’re an over comer. Satan has no power over you, your thoughts or your actions. Remember, when Satan came to Jesus after Christ had fasted 40 days? Satan could do nothing after Jesus said, “It is written.” You must look closely and read every word of the scriptures. Jesus never said, “I’m special or I have special powers, because I’m the only begotten Son of God.” He kept it simple and said, “It is written.” This is all that God requires of you. Just simply say, “It is written.” The Bible tells us in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” When you have a made up mind that you are going to truly trust God to handle all of your battles, storms, problems or whatever you’re going through, this means you have submitted yourself to Him. Now, all that’s left to do is resist the devil. This is done by using the same method Christ used. “Satan, it is written.” God tells us, all through His Word, what He will do for us, if we will only believe. He gives us a number of illustrations and all we have to do is duplicate them. So, when Satan tries to tear you down, put him in his place. Depression only begins, when you allow an evil thought to enter your life. You have the power and authority to block and bind those thoughts. Each of us, must awake everyday and proclaim, “It’s a great day and that we’re thankful to be here to be a service to our creator.” Remember, He chose you. John 15:16. Isn’t God good, kind, merciful, loving and on time? †
