If you are a Born Again child of God, this is your year. The Lord has told us that we are going to see His hand move for us this year greater than ever. He is referring to those that are obedient and are committed. In James 1:6, He clearly tells us to ask in faith, nothing wavering. If we play games with God, we will receive nothing. That’s what it says in verse seven. Only those that are serious about serving the Lord and those that have stood through the storms of life and have not wavered in their faith are going to be abundantly blessed this year. †
Great Reports
We praise the Lord for all the good things that are happening. Every day we are seeing God’s hand move in different situations and we can’t praise Him enough. God is blessing His Children as He has told us He would. The blessings aren’t just finances, but good news about healings in body, family, soul, work, church and in general everyday living. God is using this Ministry to help make a difference in so many lives and we give Him all the praise and glory. Please mail in your praise reports, along with your prayer requests. We are to praise the Lord for everything that happens in our lives. It’s amazing to see how God is blessing those that have been faithful to support this Ministry over the years and are continuing to do so. We should all know that we can’t buy God’s blessings, but it’s obedience that moves God. It doesn’t have to be a huge amount, it simply has to be given from a caring heart for the right reasons. God’s Laws on giving and receiving, along with sowing and reaping are still in force. We need to remind ourselves of who is in charge. Without God, we have nothing and we surely cannot get anything. He is our source and we must totally place our confidence in Him. People are beginning to do this for the first time in their lives and they are seeing that what we’re saying is true. We cannot out give the Lord. God gave His only begotten Son, which was Jesus, to redeem each of us from our sins. Jesus gave His own life for a sacrificial offering to reconcile us to His Father, God. We then give our time and finances, so that others may learn of these sacrifices and be saved. Please send in your praise reports and prayer requests today. †
Love and Forgiveness
What is love and what is forgiveness? Our definition of love may differ from yours or others, but we feel that true love is when you care more about another person than yourself. True love is when you would lay down your life for another without hesitation. This is the love Christ had and has for us. He died for each of us while we were yet sinners. We are to have the same love for others. Why? Because Jesus is love and when we truly have heart knowledge of Christ, we have the love of God living within our hearts. That’s correct. God is love. (I John 4:8) You cannot have God in your heart and not have His love dwelling within you. This is how we can tell the fruit bearing trees from the thorns and thistles. The people that have the love of God in their hearts truly care for others. They are the first to volunteer to help the poor and needy. They are the first to share what little they may have with those that are less fortunate. They don’t have to claim Christianity, their lives reflect it. Let us all seek God’s perfect will in our lives. †
A Still Moment
This is all God wants from us. He wants us to stand still and wait upon Him to visit with us. We get so caught up in our own little worlds that we forget to visit with our Creator. We’re always asking Him to heal, bless, bind or some how make a way for us to be more comfortable. In other words, we’re always asking for something or complaining about things we cannot control. Would you want to be around a person that continuously complained or was always begging you for help? We like being able to visit with people and carry on a conversation about what they like and what we like. God wants the same attention. He wants His Children to visit with Him and spend time sharing thoughts and feelings with each other. The more you’re around a person, the more you learn about them. God created us in His own image for a precise reason. It may have been that He wants us to spend a quite still moment with Him, so that we can get to know Him better. He already knows us and desires to help us with our problems. †
We Are The Laborers
Christ tells us a parable in Luke 14:16-24 of how people didn’t want to attend a great supper that had been prepared. We see the same attitudes in communities today. Christ told the servants, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Each of us need to fulfill this scripture. We are the laborers and we need to be busy everyday inviting people to come and dine in the Lord’s House. The tables are spread in God’s true churches with a full course meal of the Word of God being served. Those that are hungry may come and eat until they’re filled. We have to let them know there’s no charge. It’s free to those that will come. The definition of compel is, (To force or drive to a course of action. To secure or bring about by force.) Remember, we’re the laborers and we are to go forth and compel others to come into God’s House. †
