2023 Volume 32 Issue 23 “The Lady At The Well”

Jesus had commanded His Disciples not to go into the cities of Samaria and minister to the people there.  However, He decided He must go through Samaria on His way into Galilee.  He stopped at Jacob’s Well and while there a Samaritan woman came for water.  Jesus knowing all things, asked her for some water and she replied, “Why are you talking to me, a Samaritan?  Jews never have anything to do with Samaritans.”  Jesus answered, “If you knew who you were talking to, you would be begging me for water.  He went on to tell the women to go home and get there husbands.”  She replied, “I have no husband.”  Jesus told her that she spoke the truth, the man she was living with was not her husband.  You see, Jesus knows everything about us.  He went on to tell her that she had been married five times.  Jesus then revealed to her that He was the Messiah that everyone was waiting for.  Jesus’ disciples came and wanted to know why Jesus was talking to a Samaritan, but no one asked Him.  The woman left her water pot and went to the city and told everyone who she had met asking them to come meet Him.  This is what God wants you and I to do.  Once we have met Jesus, we’re to go tell everyone about Him and try to get them to meet Him.  I’m certain not everyone she spoke to came to the well looking for Jesus that day, but at least they were invited.  All we can do is invite the lost to come unto repentance.  It’s up to God to save the lost.  God’s Word tells us to invite them and if they receive it, fine but if they refuse to listen, we’re to shake the dust from our feet and go tell others.  So many of us waste so much time trying to tell people, we care about, to repent and accept God’s plan for Salvation.  We need to be sharing with everyone we come in contact with, remembering that only God can do the saving.  Not everyone can or will be saved, only those whom God draws by the Holy Ghost.  (John 14:6 and John 6:44).  Jesus’ timing is always perfect.  He knew the exact time when He was to be at the well, and He knew who was to be present when He spoke God’s Word.  Sometimes, we’re to be silent if there is doubt or unbelief present.  Share God’s Plan of Salvation with everyone you know.  They may truly need to hear it.  †

Knowing About Christ!

If you know how to spell Christmas, you know how to spell Christ.  Spelling His name is one thing, accepting the work He did at Calvary for you and me is another.  We must have a redeemer and Jesus Christ is that redeemer.  At Christmas, everyone is expecting gifts and great attitudes from their friends, neighbors and family members.  The greatest gift one could give is their own life.  Jesus gave us this great gift, when He died on the Cross.  God gave the greatest gift He could give, when He gave His only Begotten Son, so you and I could live with Him in His home.  Let’s use this Holiday Season to tell this information to others.  If you want to do something for Jesus, ask a friend or neighbor if they would like to receive our news letters each month.  These letters are free and we feel they are inspiring.  All we need is their name and correct mailing address.  If possible, ask several people and get their information to us and we’ll take care of the rest.  Also, tell others about our telecast times, so they can join us each week.  The only tree we need to be concerned about this year, is the one they used to make the Cross.  Can you imagine how God felt when that particular tree was planted, knowing that His Son would be crucified on it?  †

Men of Great Faith

We start with Noah.  He truly had to have faith to believe that God wanted him to build the ark when it had not rained there before.  In Genesis 2:5 God clearly tells us, that He had not caused it to rain upon the earth.  Noah obeyed God, because he believed.  Then we have Abraham, who was called, “Abram” in the beginning.  He also had to believe God in Genesis 12:1-2, when God told him to leave all and that He, “God” would bless him abundantly.  There are so many in the Bible, so we’re only going to mention a few, such as, Moses.  He had to trust God, when he was faced with the Red Sea before him and Pharaoh and his army behind him.  Joshua trusted God when God told him to conquer all of Canaan starting with Jericho.  The story is found in the book of Joshua.  Then we have Elijah and Elisha, two of God’s anointed prophets.  They surely trusted God for everything. The stories go on and on.  God still wants His people to trust Him by using the same faith.  The disciples stepped out one by one and followed Jesus by blind faith.  They left everything and trusted God to provide their needs.  God makes us many promises and we must believe for each one to come to pass in our lives.  We have to believe that God can and will provide for us.  †

Looking Back While Looking Forward

As we reflect on 2023, we can see how God moved so miraculously in this Ministry.  There were many times that it was impossible for us to continue, by mans standards, but God stepped in and made a way.  He used so many people to help us financially and physically.  Letters and words of encouragement, came pouring in exactly when they were needed.  We take this time to thank each and everyone one of you for your help.  As we look, we also see how God anointed this Ministry to help lead so many to Christ and to bless many families with food and clothing.  We give God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost all the Glory.  It was the Trinity that blessed us to do this.  Now, we look for even greater things this coming year. We have many more that have sown seed of their Time, Talent and Treasure, only to find that God has multiplied all back to them many times over.  We pray that they will join us, this year, and help us do more and more for our Lord.  We’re declaring 2024 to be the greatest year ever, for winning souls, redirecting families that are headed in the wrong direction and helping others, by feeding and clothing more families than we ever have.  When we Heaven, we hope someone will say, “Thank You.”  We know we’ll be saying that a lot to God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost.  We’re aware that we don’t understand all we need to know about the proceedings in Heaven, so we’re using our time on earth to tell each of you, “Thank You” for being involved.  †

 Our Great Holiday Season

It’s that time of the year where we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, “Jesus Christ.”  It’s the greatest holiday ever, but it’s also the time of year that our supporters become slack in giving.  Our expenses continue, each week and it’s very important that we keep our bills paid.  We cannot fall behind, because we’ve given our word that we will pay our TV invoices, each week.  We hate to ask for help, but it takes thousands of dollars to keep this ministry going.  By the way, we have had several, “Salvations,” this year.  We’re laying up treasures in Heaven, even as we write this letter, because we’re airing all over the World out of this small church.  Thank you for all that you have done, this year and for all that you are doing.  †
