That’s the magic number in the Bible. The Lord Jesus Christ tells us, that we must forgive those that sin against us 7 x 70 each day. That’s 490 times a day. We try our best to remember this always. We’ve all been accused of guilt by association with people that have sinned against us and others, but when that person or those people ask for forgiveness, we should forgive them and it must be placed behind us. Some say they forgive, but they hold a grudge, that’s not forgiveness! We must show Christian love when a person asks for forgiveness. Sometimes, it seems as though it’s over 490 times a day, but it isn’t. Once you’ve forgiven the person, move on doing what’s right. Forget about it, even though that’s easier said than done in some cases, but give it to Jesus, lay it at His feet. It’s called laying your Isaac down. If Satan shows up and reminds you of how you were hurt. That’s when you send him to Jesus and allow Jesus to handle it. Don’t pick it up again. †
The Gifts
People sometimes ask about the Gifts of the Spirit that God promises all of His Children. We want you to know why you need the power these Gifts provide. You can leave North Carolina headed for California in a new, stripped down, super plain General Motors automobile. A four cylinder with no air, no power windows, doors or brakes. A straight drive. This vehicle will get you to your destination in a timely manner or you can drive from North Carolina to California in a new deluxe Cadillac with all the bells and whistles. A V-8 with an automatic transmission. Everything power, cruise control, the works. Both vehicles will get you to your destination, but the Cadillac will be much more comfortable and more powerful. You reside in a vehicle called, “Your Body.” You’ve accepted Christ as your Saviour, so you’re headed to Heaven. Your salvation will get you to your destination, but as you know, there will be battles, hindrances and difficult times. What most people don’t understand is, God wants you to have the finest bells and whistles available. The Power and all the great comforts that come with the Gifts of the Spirit and everything is yours for the asking or you might say, yours for the choosing. The Lord loves you way more than you love your children. You might say, “That’s impossible,” but it isn’t. His love is far greater than anything we can imagine. His desire is for each of us to be as happy and blessed as possible. †
Walking With Him
Often times, we think of what our lives would be without Christ. All of our immediate family members are saved and heaven bound. You might ask, “Why?” It’s because we walk with Him. We place all of our trust in God, knowing He can and will do all that we ask Him to do, as long as it lines up with His Word. This is why it’s so important to know the Word of God. Your prayers can’t line up, if you don’t know how or what to pray. To walk with Him is to have a personal relationship with Him, meaning, you must be able to correspond with Him by talking and listening. God created you to love, honor and serve Him. He loves you so much and desires to have that personal relationship with you, but you must put your personal cares aside and put Him first in your life. When you pray, please allow Him a chance to answer you. It will be that small voice you’ll hear and the devil will try to make you think that it’s just you, but he’s a liar. God will talk with you and bless you. You must only believe! †
Do You Believe?
This is a very simple question. We want you to think about it for a moment. Ask yourself, “Do I really believe the Holy Bible?” If your answer was, “Yes” and we hope it was, you truly need to know why you’re where you are in life and how to improve your situation if you’re struggling. It’s taken many years for us to realize the truth. We didn’t have anyone to instruct us to listen to God through His Spirit and His Word. We read the Bible for years and basically knew what it said, but we didn’t truly understand what it meant. God has given us, His Children, a roadmap to happiness, peace, prosperity and eternal life. As most people know, Evangelist David Bibey is not a prosperity preacher nor a poverty preacher. God doesn’t want His Children living in poverty, just as you don’t want your children having to do without. He has given us a simple plan for our prosperity and happiness. When we bring His Tithe into His house, which is the church, to keep the church doors open and to provide for His Ministers, He promises to bless us immensely. God just compels not to preach for filthy lucre. God wants us to take His Tithes into the church on the first day of the week, which is Sunday. This accomplishes three things. First, it puts us in Church on Sundays, which pleases God. Second, it provides money to pay electric bills, Minister’s salaries, insurance on the buildings and contents, plus keeps the men of God preaching His Word weekly. Third, it places us in obedience with His Word. He has commanded us to do this in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. He then tells us in John 14:15, “If ye love me keep my commandments.” Far too often, people place worldly excuses before obedience. The most used excuse is, “I can’t afford to pay my Tithes.” Why can’t you give God His share? You couldn’t pay any bills or buy any food for yourself or your family, if God hadn’t blessed you and provided you with an increase for that week or month. People don’t realize that only 90% of what they get belongs to them. God takes His 10% off the top, just like Uncle Sam. In Malachi 3:8-9, the bible clearly states that we rob God when we fail to take His money into the church and in Verse 9, God explains that, because of disobedience we are cursed. He also makes the statement that when we are obedient, He blesses us with more blessings than we can receive, plus He rebukes the devil when he tries to come around and steal your blessings. †
