As we grow in Christ, we learn just how powerful the Holy Ghost is. There have been times, in our walk, that we wanted to turn and head in another direction, but the power of God’s Spirit came over us and we realized nothing could stop us. When we look to the Lord, the greatest mountains that are placed before us are very small hills to Him and He already has plans to smooth them, so our paths will be easy to trod. We have no idea what lies before us next week, month or year, but we do know God has commissioned us to give you hope through this letter. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances look like, you simply give the situation to God in the name of Jesus and leave it in His hands. You must make sure not to pick up the problem again. Many times we make the statement, “We’re giving the problem to God,” but thirty minutes later, we’re trying to figure out how we can solve it. In the Book of Zechariah we find the story of Zerubbabel, which had started rebuilding the temple of God after King Cyrus had decreed that it should be rebuilt. Zerubbabel had laid the foundation of the building and as was the custom of that day, the person which laid the foundation would also lay the headstone or crowning stone, finishing the structure. The enemy got involved, as usual and a decree came from the new King, Darius, ordering the building to stop. King Darius becomes a mountain in Zerubbabel’s life, which needs to be removed. God sends His message to Zerubbabel in Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of Host.” It’s not going to move by the might of man, nor by the power of the strongest human on earth, but by the Holy Spirit of God. It’s hard when you’re facing a gigantic problem, knowing in the natural there’s no way to overcome. However, if you continue reading in Zechariah 4:7, God asked the mountain, which is, “Darius.” “Who are You to think you can come against a servant of God? You are about to be removed and become a plain.” (God is going to level the mountain.) My temple shall be built by Zerubbabel and he shall set the headstone. If Zerubbabel had come against the King and tried to defy him, he would have made a mess of things. God wanted Zerubbabel to see His power. The Lord will always be there for us, if we’ll allow Him to handle our problems. We have to place all of our trust in the Spirit of God. It doesn’t matter if you’re building a temple or if you’re just working to hold your marriage together, God will fix it, if you will let Him. The Holy Spirit sees all, hears all, knows all and can fix all, when it’s in God’s plan and in His will. †
When God Speaks!
As we study the bible, we see where the Lord makes us many promises. Satan will try to tell us that these promises are not for us, but for those in Jesus’ day. This is totally a lie. Every promise in God’s Word, is for you and me that are saved and born-again. All through the Bible, when the Lord spoke, His words became alive. We would remind you of Malachi 3:6, “For I am the Lord, I change not:” What most Christians fail to understand, is the same God we serve today is the same God we read about in the Bible. He is a God that cannot fail nor lie. When He speaks, it will come to pass. †
A Walk In The Dark
We have often wondered how our leaders in Washington could be so blind, that they can’t see what is happening to our country. God reminded me of how Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and how he couldn’t se what was happening around him. God has the eyes of our leaders blinded and they’re walking in the dark. Why would God do such a thing? He’s allowing sin to abound, so His plan can be completed. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:37-39, “But as in the day of No’e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No’e entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” In Luke 17:28-30, “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.” All of us know that God is no respecter of person, so if He destroyed the evil sinners then, He will destroy the same today. Every person that’s blinded by this evil spirit and living a homosexuality or lesbianism life, knows their parents are against such living. If their parents had lived such lives, these, which are deceived would never have been born. Just to think that our elected leaders would take a stand with those that live such a lifestyle, tends to make us sick. We know our God tells us not to judge, but to pray for them. However, we will be honest and tell you that sometimes it gets very difficult to do. We understand that sin is sin and we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. We thank the Lord that He hasn’t blinded us to this spirit of deception. Please pray for our leaders and if God tarries, make sure you register and vote. All we’ll say is, vote your heart. If you feel the person is Christian and will do what they say, then vote for them. The main thing is to vote. If you don’t vote, then that’s a vote for the other person. Christians must take back our country, we know it has to go this way, but we still have to fight the enemy to the finish. This evil must also abound before Christ comes. Keep your eyes on Israel and the Middle East. Russia is going to play a very important part in the end time days. †
