1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
There is a connection between faith and vision and it is the foundation of all spiritual visionary leadership.
Clear characteristics of a visionary is easily revealed in the scripture referenced above(1 John 1:1-3)
- to see, to hear and to handle means to receive, to see and receive what God has revealed to you.
to witness means to transmit what is received and declare it so to build up and equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
Moses is an example of a visionary. He meets God in the burning bush; he hears God’s word from the bush, he hears the promise of liberation; he transmit it to his people; he leads his people out of the land of Egypt (slavery).
A Visionary is someone who has an encounter with God where he imparts special revelation.
The vision of CKLCI under the leadership of Apostle Leslie Brown II, is to “Equip the Believers for the Work of the Ministry until we attain maturity in the fullness of Christ. Equipping the Believer to “Live Life on Purpose”.
