Elder Sharon Chambers has been a Member and First Lady of New Jerusalem Church of the Living God since 2007. Her loving husband of over 52 years, Bishop Horace Chambers, is her pastor. They have two lovely daughters (Karlita and Mykena) and one dear son (Curtis). From birth she was reared in the Church of the Living God, of which the current Chief Overseer and Senior Bishop is Dr. Calvin Worthem.

Elder Chambers received the Holy Ghost at an early age and at the age of 12 years became a Junior Deacon, then upon reaching adulthood was added to the senior staff of deacons. She was ordained to do great works in that position. She served many years as Choir President, Directress, Church Secretary, Youth Sunday School Teacher, and General Assembly Secretary of the Church of the Living God.

Elder Chambers currently holds the position as Associate Pastor at New Jerusalem Church of the Living God and has a passion for the youth of the church. She is the Camp Coordinator for Camp Trinity, a youth summer overnight camp program founded in 2010 by Bishop Horace Chambers. Since God has delivered Elder Chambers from a terrible case of shyness, she now has a sincere desire to bring out the best in all young people who need to overcome the same so that their Praise may be perfected in God through the Holy Spirit. She humbly confessed her call to the ministry in April 2011.

Elder Chambers retired from the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers after 40 years of service to support her husband and pastor in the ministry and now is a full-time advocate for Gut Health Awareness. Her ultimate goal is to allow God to use her to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the anointing of the Holy Ghost.
