It is good to know that no season last forever. In Minnesota, the state of ten thousand lakes, there are four seasons plus a man-made season making five. We have the winter, spring, summer, (construction) and fall. Every season has its own excitement. Every season has its own beauty. Sometimes we are so pre-occupied with the challenges of life and failed to appreciate the beauty of different seasons of our lives and those of others around us. The Bible says, “Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (New Living Translation). Life of man is full of different seasons. It is a life of contrasts. Good and bad. But God makes everything beautiful in its time. Think about it. The Lord is the One who puts together the puzzles of our lives to bring out a beautiful picture. The Lord, the Almighty, the El-Shaddai, the Lord who is more than enough, He is able to do beyond what we can ever think or imagine. The Lord who is more than enough has put eternity in our hearts to make us set our face like a flint so that we do not get dismayed or confounded – Isaiah 50:7, “Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.”

Therefore when we are joyous and in the season of great abundance, we will not say “who is the LORD?” (Proverbs 30:9), and if it is a challenging season we will not yield to the dictate of the devil because eternity is set before us. Though eternity is set before us we are not to see everything God is doing for us. We must honor Him by believing He is able to accomplish it without our knowledge. We may not understand everything, but God has made everything beautiful at His own time. We may not be given the full picture of our lives from the beginning to the end, yet in any season we may be, at the proper time we will see how beautiful it is.
