2022 Volume 31 Issue 06 “True Faith”

“True Faith”

“Faith is not believing that God can, but knowing that He will.”  We, Christians, have to fully understand the true meaning of that statement.  The Word of God is precise and absolute.  We must completely trust the Word of God for  directions and instructions.  It seems easy for most Christians to accept some of the promises made in the Bible, while it’s almost impossible to get them to believe every promise God has made to us.  We all accept the fact that God cannot and would not ever lie to anyone.  We as humans, tend to lean toward our own understanding, making it very difficult to comprehend how God operates.  A young person asked a simple question one day, that was very difficult to answer.  The question was, “If God created everything, where did God live before everything was created?”  Meaning, if He created Heaven and Earth along with all the Planets, Stars, Sun and Moon, where did He live?  In trying to explain that God has always been, it was very hard for the young person to understand.  Our carnal minds simply do not want to comprehend eternity, much less accept promises that seem absolutely impossible for anyone to deliver.  True faith is taking God at His Word and going forth as though the promise has already been delivered.  We are not to hesitate in the least, but we are to proceed knowing that our miracle is on the way.  The Lord promised, that if we met His conditions, the angel would leave heaven with our miracle.  We must stand firm, not wavering at all, but proclaiming our victory in every situation that arises.  Jesus made us a promise in Matthew 28:20,  “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”  Knowing that the Master is walking with us through every trial, why should we fear or doubt?  Just as He was with the Three Hebrew Boys that were cast into the fiery furnace, He will be with us.  We must believe every Word of the Bible, knowing that it is absolute truth.

One Touch

You know it makes no difference what your problem is or what you’re facing.  All you need is a touch from the Master and everything will be alright.  It only takes “One Touch” to solve every problem the enemy can throw at you.  We simply have to learn and understand God’s instructions.  Then we are to apply them to our lives.  He tells us, in His Word, how to overcome every obstacle in our pathway.  The Word clearly tells us to bring all of our cares and burdens to the Lord.  In Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  When we have a problem, we are instructed to carry it to Christ.  In I Peter 5:6-7 it states, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you.”  We’re to cast all cares upon Him, not just the large ones, that seem so difficult, but all.  We’re to carry even the very small matters to God.  One of the key words here is, “humble”.  Each of us, must lay aside our pride and realize that we can’t carry the burden alone.  We have to come before God, as a little child in trouble, asking for help.  When we exercise our faith, believing that if and when we ask God in the name of Jesus for help, help will be coming soon.  In Hebrews 11:6 the Word says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  When we carry our burdens, problems and cares before God, we must have the faith that He will hear and most definitely answer our prayers for help.  God has never failed to answer a faith directed prayer request.  When He sees the sincere trust behind the prayer, He moves quickly.

Sharing

One of the greatest works that could ever be done, is to direct someone Salvation.  Many are directed to rock concerts and social gathering in churches, but few ever hear the truth of having to be born again to inherit the Kingdom of God.  We beg you to please share our telecast with all of your friends, relatives and neighbors.  Encourage them to tune in every week.  Tell them the time and the station.  Most of you in North Carolina, can see us on Sunday Mornings at 8:30 AM on channel CW-22 or on WWAY TV3 out of Wilmington at 10:00 AM, through DirecTV, Dish Network or Antenna.  We are also on The Word Network nation wide at 1:00 AM on Monday nights if you would like to set your DVR to record the programs each week.  When you get up each Sunday morning, call others and remind them to watch.  You may not realize it, but the Holy Ghost reaches out through the airwaves of our program and touches the sinners, drawing them unto repentance.  Your ministry may be to direct others to a program where the truth is proclaimed.  Sharing the gospel has the greatest rewards one could ever ask for.

Our Offer This Month

This month, we’re offering the teaching CD entitled, “It Is Finished”.  (14 things Jesus did on the Cross)  This will bring out blessings and works that most have never considered.  You will definitely enjoy this one hour teaching and it will also make a wonderful Easter gift for a friend or relative.  We’re asking for a love gift of $17.00 or more for Offer # 406-G.  These proceeds help us continue carrying the gospel over the airwaves.  Most know how the economy is and we feel it each and every month.  Remember what the Word says in Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  The Word says it and we believe it.

A special thank you to those who are faithful to support each month with not only your financial donations but with your prayers as well.  God Bless You!!

Bible Verse of the Day

If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
