2021 Volume 30 Issue 14 “Christian Faith”
Each of us know God’s word says, “All we have to do is believe and we shall receive.”We know this to be true, but there are other considerations we must take to our understanding. One must truly believe 100% in order to move God’s hand. We have traveled to may third world countries and have seen true faith in action, so we have no doubt that it does indeed work. We’ve often asked, “Why don’t we see God’s hand move here like we do in the other countries?” There’s one thing lacking in our country. We have tons of doubt and unbelief all around us. Jesus ran into the same problem while He preached on earth. In the countries and cities where no one knew Him, people were healed and set free from devilish spirits. We find miracle after miracle throughout the scriptures, but when Jesus went in His own home land where He was known, He was hindered. What could hinder the Son of God from doing miracles? Doubt and unbelief. The people in His own country would not believe His words. In Matthew 13:58, “And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” When your hundreds of miles away from the nearest hospitals or doctors, you have to believe in the super natural powers. When a man of God comes preaching the Good News that God heals and delivers, they believe and receive their answers. They have no doubt, because it hasn’t been forced upon them as it has us. Doctors say, “There’s no hope.” Bankers say, “I’m sorry, but NO!” Lawyers tell you, “It’s impossible.” We were brought up to receive these answers, because people have been trained and taught to be experts in their fields. God has Good News for all of us. We no longer have to suffer for our doubt and unbelief. We can start this very day declaring victory over the prince of this air we breathe and over all his powers that persuades us to doubt God’s Word. He’s a liar and the founder of all lies. Once we use the power that Jesus instilled in us in Luke 10:19, we will have victory in every area of our lives. We choose to live and be in good health, while we are here on this earth. We chose to be a believer in God’s Word and take all of His promises to heart. We declare our victory in every situation we find ourselves in. We hope to encourage every person to do the same.
TRUSTING
Who can you trust in, if not God? You know for sure you can’t trust man. It’s crazy to place your trust in the government The Lord is the only one that will come through for you in the end. We have all had experiences, in our lives, to where we h ad no one to turn to, but the Lord. Each time, He brought us through, what seemed to be impossible times. When your back is against the wall and a mountain is placed before you, this is when God takes action. He doesn’t move on your behalf as long as you have a plan to work things out. It’s when you run out of ways, plans and ideas, you call upon Him and place your complete trust in Him to deliver and He will. It’s much easier to allow Him to do it in the first place. You know how pleasing it is when your child comes to you with a problem and asks you to help them solve it? How good it made you feel that they placed their trust in you? You must remember that if you’re saved, God is your Heavenly Father and it pleases Him also, when we come to Him with our problems. When you place your trust in the Lord, He will never fail you.
WORRY
There is a dangerous disease among us. That disease is, “Worry.” Most people don’t realize how much they worry over small things and large issues. What they fail to realize is, their worrying has never settled an issue nor a problem. We are learning valuable lessons and that’s to take God at His Word entirely. Most of us do place our trust in Him, but how far do we extend that trust in Him? Do we truly believe He can do or accomplish everything He has promised in His Word? Do we believe He can provide for us, heal us and keep us from all harm? Will He be our protector in the times of trouble? Can He be our lawyer, banker and doctor all at once? Get in your Bible and read Matthew 6:34. He clearly tells us not to worry about tomorrow. We all know that tomorrow may not come for most of us. God instructs us to take care of the matters we face today for they will keep us busy, because each day will bring new challenges. Tomorrow will bring it’s own problems. Worrying over any of the matters today will not remove them. God wants us to give all of our obstacles to Him. Read Philippines 4:6. We’re not take anything for granted, but we’re to take all things seriously, No matter what it looks like in the natural, we’re to thank God for allowing it to happen. The Bible clearly says, we’re to pray over everything, thanking God and we’re to let out request be known unto God. This means, every request or need, large or small. We’re not to take thought of our problems or cares, but we’re to pray and give them to God. We are to walk and confess every day that we are worry free. It doesn’t matter what the doctors or the banker say. We know the Master of all and we m ust always remember, God is in total control.
