2021 Volume 30 Issue 13 “A Word From The Lord”

A while back in one of our services, the power of God fell and the Church felt the anointing of God as He began to speak. He said something to the effect , “Rejoice My Children. Many of you have suffered persecutions this past year and the enemy has come against you in a great way, but I say unto you, it is finished. I will place my hand between you and the enemy and he shall not harm you and this next year My Children that have been faithful will be blessed.” We have so much to shout about. God wasn’t only speaking to our church, but to all His Children. Those that have been faithful, will be blessed. The enemy is finished, his work has come to an end. Our God has intervened and He shall prevail. We are looking for good things in the coming months. We have stood the test and kept the faith and for that we shall be blessed. “Watch out sinners for the Gospel of Jesus Christ is going to be preached everywhere.” We ask you to pray with us and believe with us, that this year will be the year of the greatest harvest ever.

God Will Provide Your Ram

I’m sure you remember the story of Abraham and Isaac. Isaac was a special gift to Abraham and his wife Sarah an when God required Abraham to offer Isaac as a burnt offering unto Him, Abraham didn’t think twice about it. Being obedient to his Lord, he prepared everything he needed and set off for the journey that would lead him to trust the Lord even more. Many times we are put to the test to see if we truly place our trust in the Lord or in man. God has already told Abraham that Isaac was going to be blessed and that his seed would multiply and become many nations. Abraham remembered this and he knew that God could not and would not lie to him. Believing this in his heart, he proceeded to do what the Lord commanded him to do. Many times, man forgets the promises of God. Either way, man tends to question God and fails the test. Have there been times in your life when you knew the Lord told you to do something, but you just couldn’t bring yourself to do it? The Lord’s Word says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.” We can’t look in the natural. Abraham had to take God at His Word and not question His command. We must do the same in all things. Seek God’s Word and do what the LOrd would do and you’ll never be sorry. When the Lord said, He would take care of you in all things, He meant it. Abraham raised his arm with the knife in his hand and the Lord came through. Maybe some of us need to raise our hands toward Heaven and watch the Lord come through.

  Walking The Rail

God has placed a rail before us and we are to walk that rail. A rail is laid our before the train is ever placed on it to run from one destination to another. A  huge crane is used to place the locomotive  upon the rails, but it cannot go anywhere without being fueled. Once it is fueled and manned, it starts for it’s programmed destination. As long as the locomotive stays on the tracks and has plenty of fuel, it will arrive at it’s appointed destination. Even though there will be curves ahead, it will follow the rails until it arrives at the final destination. In our lives, God is the crane, the rails represent the pathway of righteousness, the fuel is the power of the Holy Ghost and we are manned by the comforter. The moment we call upon the Lord, He places us upon the rail, fills us with the power of the Holy Ghost and sends us the comforter to get us started towards out final destination, which is Heaven. If you have ever tried walking a rail, you know it’s difficult to do alone, but when you have someone walking beside you holding your hand, helping you keep your balance, you can walk forever. We, Christians, need to remember that we do have someone holding our hands, Jesus. He has promised that He will be with us all the way. He stated that He would never leave us nor forsake us. This is a promise we can count on.

 Two or Three

We are reminded that it didn’t take a lot to please Jesus. He didn’t need the finest home or the softest bed. We really can’t find, in the bible, where He bought his suits or His neck ties. Jesus never wanted to draw attention to Himself. He tried to avoid large crowds, but when He was faced with them, He had compassion on them and showed them love. Jesus tries to tell us, in His Word, how much He cares for us. He doesn’t tell us that we have to be in the finest places or the most expensive surroundings to please Him. He says, that where we decide to gather in His name, He will be there. He goes on to tell us, that if there is only two or three gathered in His name, He will still appear. All Christians need to learn this scripture, Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” It’s not about how many attend churches or how large the buildings are. It’s all about inviting Jesus into the meetings. We are so thankful that He has always reminded us of this scripture. Please keep us in your prayers.
