Pastor’s Word of the Day

Word of The Day

“O You who hear prayer, To You all mankind comes. Wickedness and guilt prevail against me; Yet as for our transgressions, You forgive them [removing them from Your sight],” Psalms 65:2-3

Word of The Day

If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For Christ died and lived again for this reason, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. Romans 14:8-9 AMP

Word of The Day

“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much  fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that] is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” John 15:5 AMP

Word of The Day

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Philippians 2:5-8 ESV

Word of The Day

“For if by the trespass of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one (Adam), much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in [eternal] life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17 AMP

Word of The Day

“And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.” Psalms 39:7 AMP

Word of The Day

Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us, too, that God will open a door [of opportunity] to us for the  word, to proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I have been imprisoned; that I may make it clear [and speak boldly and unfold the mystery] in the way I should. Conduct yourself with wisdom in your interactions with outsiders (non-believers), make the most of each opportunity [treating it as something precious]. Colossians 4:2-5 AMP

Word of The Day

“And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love.” 2 John 1:6 AMP

Word of The Day

“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality-faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by physical senses].” Hebrew 11:1 AMP

Word of The Day

“I will make them and the places around My hill (Jerusalem, Zion) a blessing. And I will make showers come down in their season; there will be [abundant] showers of blessing (divine favor). Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its produce; and My people will be secure on their land. Then they will know [with confidence] that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have rescued them from the hand of those made them slaves.” Ezekiel 34:26-27 AMP

Word of The Day

“For the LORD delights in Justice And does not abandon His saints (faithful ones); They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off.” Psalms 37:28 AMP

Word of The Day

“You show that you are a letter from Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Corinthians 3:3 AMP

Word of The Day

“For [god] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 AMP

Word of The Day

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose – I am self-sufficiency in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]” Philippians 4:13 AMP

Word of The Day

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].” Psalms 119:9 AMP

Word of The Day

“Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience], Who delights greatly in His commandments,” Psalms 112:1 AMP

Word of The Day

“So I, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is, to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior – a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation],” Ephesians 4:1 AMP

Word of The Day

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you [holy city]. May peace be within your walls And prosperity within your palaces.” Psalms 122:6-7

Word of The Day

By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source]; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world.”  1 John 4:2-3 AMP

Word of The Day

Man, who is born of a woman, is short-lived and full of turmoil. Like a flower he comes forth and withers; He also flees like a shadow and does not remain.” Job 14:1-2

Word of The Day

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].” Matthew 6:24 AMP

Word of The Day

“He who earnestly seeks righteousness and loyalty Finds life, righteousness and honor.” Proverbs 21:21 AMP
