The Pennsylvania Assembly, located in Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA, came into being when the Hunter family in February 2000 invited and welcomed other family members, acquaintances, and friends from the community to join in a worship service, which was also attended by five (5) brethren from Queens, New York. 

At this first service, there were twenty-five persons in attendance and the presence of the Lord was evident. At the end of the day’s meeting, the brethren from New York, as well as the Hunter family agreed to meet in similar fashion the following Sabbath, and such meetings have continued ever since. The first baptism was held on March 25, 2000, when five (5) candidates were immersed. 

Since the inception of the work, the experiences have been wonderful, and the accomplishments remarkable. Some of these include the acquisition of a church building and cottage, regular visiting and ministering to residents at two (2) neighbouring Nursing Homes and Radio broadcasts. 

Under the leadership of Pastor Dervan Hunter, the church continues to progress, as people respond positively to the words of God.
