Assemblies

White Horses

The White Horses Assembly, located in St Thomas, Jamaica West Indies came into existence after the Lord through His servant Sister Merita Waugh (in 1974), informed the Palmer’s family that the Church would one day be in St Thomas. They took God at His word and waited for the fulfillment.

In the year 2002, Pastor Hixroy Joseph Waugh gave instructions that the parishes of St Thomas and Portland should be targeted for missionary work. The task was given to Evangelist Devon Mayne (now Pastor) and Missionary Daphne Palmer. The group began focusing on street meetings at Leith Hall in St Thomas.

The efforts continued until May 2004, when the Lord provided a place of worship in the district of Lyssons. After worshipping at Lyssons for several years, the group relocated to a Leased property at White Horses in the parish. After the expiration of the Lease, the group relocated to its present location.

As an aspiring group, under the Leadership of Pastor Devon Mayne and Missionary Daphne Palmer, assisted by Deaconess Jacqueline Eccleston, the brethren remain zealous and committed to the work of the Lord.

To God be the Glory!
