The Lemon Hall Assembly is in the parish of St Catherine, Jamaica. Bordering Lluidas Vale and Point Hill, the Assembly is in a valley which is only accessible by foot.
On Sunday, November 26, 1996, a group of Ministers and members travelled to Lemon Hall to hold an open-air meeting for the first time. As they journeyed, they sang the hymn “Take the Name of Jesus with you”. As if by divine revelation, Pastor Leeford Dennis pointed to a spot of land and declared that the future church would be erected there. This word became ‘flesh’ as five years later, with the help of Pastors Dennis and Baker, along with other brethren, the church building was erected at the very spot. Although many delays were experienced, the work of God could not be deterred.
Brethren from Lemon Hall and adjoining communities who once had to journey to Point Hill for worship are now able to enjoy the benefit of having an Assembly in their own Community.
The Lemon Hall Assembly falls under the leadership of Assistant Overseer, Pastor Gershom Baxter ably assisted by Evangelist Ezra O’Connor and other Ministers and brethren from the Point Hill Assembly. With God at the helm, the Church remains steadfast and confident of victory.
