OUR BISHOP

Our Bishop

Bishop Leonard Coleman Jr.

The Church of Revelation was formed in February 1994, with Bishop Leonard Coleman Jr as its founding Pastor. He established the church with 11 other members, who were close friends and family.

Bishop Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Tyndale Theological Seminary and completed his undergraduate studies at Christ for the Nation in Dallas, Texas. He is well-versed in the revelation teaching and has a deep understanding of God’s Word. He is passionate about living a life of holiness and leading by example.

In accordance with Titus 1:7-9, Bishop Coleman was elevated to the position of Bishop in 2021 after meeting all the qualifications.

“For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.” – Titus 1:7-9

Bishop Coleman has played a significant role as a moderator in various associations and served as a presiding officer in multiple ordination services and pastoral installations throughout his career.

He has been happily married to his wife, Debra, for more than 43 years, and together they have three children and nine grandchildren. For him, God, family, and church take precedence over everything else in life.
