Since all have sinned. Rom. 3:23
And Sin Separates man from God. Isa. 59:1,2
God’s Plan is to Bring Man back to him. Eph. 1:3-5
Jesus is the only one that could bring God and man back together. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The gospel is the Good News about Jesus Christ that he died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
One must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus said in John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Also, in Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Repent means to change. To stop doing wrong and strive to do right. Luke 13:3 & 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Jesus made it clear in Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. If we want Jesus to confess us before his Father, we need to confess him now. While being taught by Phillip, the Ethiopian Eunuch confessed Jesus in Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
After one has heard, believed, repented, and confessed that Jesus is the Son of God, one must be baptized for the remission of his sins. While Peter was preaching the first gospel sermon in Acts 2:36-37 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? The same thing Peter told them in Acts 2:38, we must tell people today. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
After being baptized, that is our new birth. John 3:5 We come out of the water walking in the newness of life. Rom 6:4 Then Jesus said in Rev 2:10 Be thou faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life.
Our Mission is to share the love of God so that people will want to know more about Him and promote an atmosphere that stimulates love, peace, unity, and joy.
