Mission Statement

TO PROVIDE MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT BASED ON BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES AND TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

My Role and Responsibilities as your mentor:

– Support you through face-to-face meetings, and phone and email accessibility in between sessions; web and video conferencing are also available.
– Observe you in person and in the context of your ministry situations.
– Help you link theory and practice, making growth a reality.
– Periodically evaluate your progress and make any necessary adjustments
– Offer a source of accountability and encouragement
– Demonstrate utmost respect and confidentiality for you as a growing individual and part of the clergy

Spiritual Development

1.Read the Holy Bible

2.Cultivate a personal daily prayer time

3.Keep a spiritual journal (experiences, questions, concerns)

4.Read designated book as assigned by the Mentor

5.Active membership in local church

6.Meet with Dr. Rucker for personal exchange

7.Travel with Dr. Rucker at least 1 foreign trip per year

Personal Development

1.Write your personal life vision and priority

2.Establish and document your annual goals list for three years

3.Read Dr. Rucker’s book, “The Pre-Natal Assignment”

4.Attend one event/conference per quarter to enhance your area of interest

5.Organize space at home for a personal library

Leadership Development

1.Take a leadership responsibility in your local church

2.Serve a leader you respect and would like to emulate

3.Seek opportunities to serve your community in civic and charity organizations
