Pastor Bridget Ann Adams Collins

Pastor Bridget Ann Adams Collins was born on March 18, 1960, in Guyana, South America. She is the eldest of eight children, born to Daphne Anderson and George Campbell. Pastor Bridget migrated to the United States of America in 1987.

Pastor Bridget is the proud mother of four children and the wife of Deacon Frederick Collins. She worked as a nursing assistant for 25 years in the city of New York, touching many lives with her passionate heart, earning her the nickname, “The Woman of Prayer.” Many of her patients experience the healing touch from God through her prayers and got saved, it also reached their extended families as well. Her favorite motto is “Prayer works and prayer changes things”.

In 1990, Bridget accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was baptized in Jesus’ name, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. She serves as the Missionary present @ The Bible Way House of Prayer. In 2009, Bridget was ordained as an Elder at the International Bible Way Holy Convocation.

She served as the Assistant Pastor at the Prayer Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, New York, under the leadership of Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr. In 2012, Bridget attended Greater Bethel Bible School in Jamaica, Pastor Bridget Collins is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies at Newburg Theology Seminary. She is also a student at The Joy School of Trinidad and Tobago.

As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Bridget credits her faith in God for her strength, recalling moments where she heard God’s comforting voice during her battles with the illness. She heard the voice of God saying to her, “I am the God that heals thee.”

In 2012, Bridget relocated to South Carolina with her family and became an active member of The Kingdom Harvest Bible Way Church in Charlotte, N.C., under the leadership of the late Bishop Stanley Pettice. She served in various roles, including Usher President, Missionary President, and President of the Women’s Department (“WOW”).

In 2020, Pastor Bridget Collins established House of Refuge Church in York, South Carolina, where she serves as the current Pastor and founder.
