THE BENEFITS OF APOSTOLIC COVERING

There is no reason for a church to have an apostolic covering if the church doesn’t
benefit from the relationship. If the only one receiving benefits is the apostle,
something is wrong. Following are some areas that a church and its leaders
should benefit from apostolic covering:
• Counsel – In vision, helping to define it, refine it and articulate it. In
doctrine, to help deal with doctrinal issues confronting a church or causing
division in the church. In church discipline, this is especially helpful in
difficult cases to avoid personal attacks against leadership when a member
needs discipline.
• Protection – This is to provide an atmosphere of safety and security for both
the pastor and the people. To protect the people- if a leader falls into error
or sin or becomes dictatorial, the congregation knows they have someone to
appeal to, helping to avoid a church split. To protect the pastor – At times
the Pastor needs someone to speak on his behalf. He needs protection against
false accusations.
• Accountability – Having apostolic covering gives the pastor someone to be
accountable to, someone to talk to, relate to and just sound off to.
• Confirmation – Apostolic covering can be used to confirm and ordain elders
and other 5-fold gifts in the church. Having someone else to interview and
confirm candidates for ministry can provide an objective view that is often
missing in independent churches.
• Encouragement – Visits by apostolic covering can bring encouragement and
blessing to a local church.
• Commitment – Apostolic covering doesn’t work unless there is a level of
commitment by a pastor and congregation. Every pastor knows the value and
importance of commitment in the local church. A level of commitment is
needed if you’re going to entrust someone with ministry responsibility in the
local church. As an apostolic network we have come to realize that there are
some basic commitments a pastor and local church need to make to fully
benefit from apostolic oversight:

• First, set aside a time to meet with the overseer or attend services that
may conduct throughout the year. This will provide an opportunity:
• To increase vision
• To build relationships
• To encourage fellowship
• To receive teaching and ministry
• To connect with a global vision
• To be personally strengthened and refreshed

• Secondly, participate financially – One of the signs of a church’s or
individual’s commitment to the KoPCFG is it’s regular financial
support. As an apostolic ministry we believe that every participating
church ministry or 5-Fold ministry gitf should be giving consistently.

Jesus taught that one of the evidences that people were receiving the Word of
God was their willingness to support the messengers financially (Matthew
10:5-14).
We are cautious as an apostolic ministry regarding the subject of finances. We
know there is much confusion and abuse in this area in the body of Christ.
We believe the laborer is worthy of his wages (1 Tim.5:18) and that churches
receiving ministry from the apostolic ministry should financially support the
ministry.
As an International Ministry that is committed to reaching the nations, there are
many things that need to be done that will require financial support.
After reading and you are led to join, you may do so by calling office and leaving
your mailing address, or mail us a letter, we will send information right back to
you how you can connect today:

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and Gods revealed
word to man.
We believe that Scripture teachers that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to
reveal Himself as Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew
28:19; Luke 3:22).
We believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5;
Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; I Corinthians 2:14).
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, that
He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and
making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; I
Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21).
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely
essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; I Corinthians 1:18; II Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians
2:8, 9; II Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).
We believe the Scriptures ascribe to the Holy Spirit the acts and attributes of an intelligent
being, and that the works of God such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification
are also ascribed to the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2; Job 33:4; Mark 3:29; John 16:8, 13; Acts 7:51,
10:19, 13:2, 13:4, 16:6; I Corinthians 2:11,6:11, 12; Ephesians 4:30, I Peter 3:!8; II Peter 1:21).
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is
enabled to live a holy life (Romans 8:5; Philippians 2:12, 13; I Thessalonians 4:3; I John 2:29).
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28;
Acts 2:4).
We believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. The
soul and spirit do not die, but immediately after death enter into a conscious state of happiness
or misery according to the character here possessed by rejection or acceptance of the Savior
(Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12; Philippians 1:23).
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life
and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation
22:11).
We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; I
Thessalonians 4:13-18). We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing
for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4, 5; James 5:14, 15; I Peter 2:24).

STATEMENT OF ETHICAL CONDUCT

“And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, All power is given unto me in
heaven and in earth. Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:18)
Members of Kingdom of Priest Covenant Fellowship GLOBAL are expected to

some, apostles; and some, prophet;, and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for
the edifying of the body of Christ…”, and to demonstrate the self-discipline
instructed in Colossians 3, “Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and
beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,
longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man
have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”
Toward this end, it is mandatory that members of the Fellowship agree to be held
