This program provides pregnant and nursing mothers with necessary maternity, breastfeeding, and essential baby supplies to improve the dignity and quality of life for the mothers and babies. It is a two-phase program—the maternity supplies that a woman needs during labor and delivery and immediately following delivery, and the breastfeeding and essential baby supplies that enhance the breastfeeding experience for new mothers and the quality of life for the babies.
There are very few if any maternities in Cameroon and other African Countries that provide women with healthy maternity supplies. As such women in labor need to source for these items, most of who do not have access. There is a huge need for disposable maternity supplies as most hospitals and families still use “hand wash and dry” supplies. We are out to offset that system. We want to introduce and provide disposable maternity and feminine supplies that are needed by women in labor and delivery. Some of these items include:
