1800 in Frederick, Md., but we trace our roots to 1767.
The Church of the United Brethren in Christ is the first denomination to begin in America. Other denominations existed at the time, but they were transplanted from Europe.

Since 1853, the United Brethren in Christ have been on mission with God in North America, Africa, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, South Asia and East Asia. Today, UB Global embodies the collective international ministries of the United Brethren in Christ of Canada and the United States with direct ministries in 19 countries and partner ministries in others. Through the years, the goal remains the multiplication of disciples and churches with a particular focus on those who are the least reached.
